Funeral & Memorial for Kose

Greetings family, friends, and our fellow community. With deep sorrow and sadness, we the immediate family, create this Go Fund Me for Enkose Jones; our beloved child, sibling, grandchild, cousin, friend, coworker & much more. Unfortunately and unexpectedly on 11/2/23, Kose ended their life. Kose was an incredible being who truly left an impression on all whom they encountered. Kose was highly intellectual, hilariously funny, extremely resourceful and a light in many lives. Kose loved traveling, had an exquisite palate and was an advocate for living a fulfilling life, enjoying the things you love as much as possible. They were reserved but still able to create beautiful and meaningful relationships with others. Being apart of the LGBTQ+ Community, their entire life, Kose endured harassment, bullying, threats, and hatred by those who were unable to understand and accept them for who they were. Throughout their life Kose dealt with self hatred, rejections, judgement, mental health issues, depression, and body dysmorphia. Most recently, Kose learned about some unfortunate health issues making it much harder to keep themselves together. Despite it all, Kose had a support system from those closest to them. We all were rooting for Kose and did not see their untimely fate coming but the weight of their pain must have been too much to bear. We will miss Kose more than we can express. We are unprepared for the high cost of funeral/memorial expenses along with other unexpected costs. Kose's body, personal belongings, vehicle, etc is in Los Angeles & we are 2,000 miles from LA. We appreciate all the support we can get and have received thus far. Thank you & God Bless us all.
