Funeral & Memorial Funds for Chas Gagliano

Chas Gagliano passed away on Sunday, 8/14/2021.

If anyone were to ask someone who knew Chas to describe him, they'd likely say he was a man who wore his heart on his sleeve, especially when it came to animals, the homeless population, and victims of domestic violence. He spent most of his time fighting to protect all living things and working hard to spread the mission of the nonprofit organization that he helped create - Hidden Paws Network . They would also say that Chas was a highly intelligent and passionate man with a great sense of humor, and a great love for his late wife whom he often spoke about.

Chas was known as a community staple in the city of Green Bay, where he and his terrier, Charlie, were popular regulars at all of the small businesses surrounding his apartment on Broadway. Everyone on Broadway could count on Chas for a smile, friendly advice, or some sass and a bad joke. If there were ever an animal or a person in need, Chas would step up to the plate to help. Chas would give the shirt off his back.

When Chas passed he left behind his godson, caregiver and business partner, Josh Jablonski, his beloved dog, Charlie, and his two rescue cats, Charo and Charlotte. Charlie is being cared for by Josh and Elizabeth, and the two kitties have been taken in by Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary . Although Chas did not have any biological family, he was considered family by many, including everyone at Hidden Paws Network, and the Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary staff who will miss him knocking at the back door to check in on them. Cheyenne, Josh's black lab, was another special friend to Chas, and she will miss him dearly.

Unfortunately, because the death was unexpected, the funeral and memorial costs have been left for Josh to cover - who is now unemployed due to Chas's passing. Chas made sure to tell close friends that if anything happened to him, he wanted to make sure that Josh and his pets were taken care of.
