Funeral & Memorial for James “JC” Crews

I'm doing this fundraiser for JC Crews. I'm trying to raise the money to help with the cost of his funeral and memorial.
His mom, Sue and I have been friends since we were little kids and we've always called each other sisters. So while JC may not be my nephew through blood, he is absolutely my nephew in my heart. JC was taken from us suddenly on July 20, 2023. His family and friends are absolutely devastated. Anything you're able to donate would be greatly appreciated by myself and his family.

Let me tell you a little something about this amazing human being. I love him like he was my own. And I will miss him every day for the rest of my life.

JC had a big personality. He made me smile. Every time I saw him , every time I spoke to him. I would get a random text in the middle of the night. Hey Aunt Risa are you awake? Can you talk?. The answer was always yes. We would talk about everything. His friends meant everything to him. He was devastated when he lost his friend Tyler Wilson this past October . And now we're devastated to have lost JC. There's so many amazing things about him that people should know. Like his ability to never give up on love , even after having his heart broken. It just amazed me. He was just that kind of person. He helped anybody who needed help. He was an undeniable mamas boy. His grandparents were his best friends. He even moved in with his grandmother after his grandfather passed away. They would sit and talk about Work ,about how his grandmother made the best chicken cutlets. He was lost when she passed away. And he absolutely loved his sister Brittney, like there was no tomorrow . When he told me he was going to get a tattoo sleeve. I told him he needed to send me a picture the minute he was done. I asked him why he was doing it and he said… Well Aunt Risa, you have one, and I need to be as cool as you… JC was a big Yankees fan. I'm pretty sure that's because of me and his mom. We grew up in New York. We kind of forced it on him. He didn't really have a choice. But he was a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan and a Florida gators fan. JC was loved by so many people and will be missed by them all. The outpouring of love to his family, from his friends ,was overwhelmingly amazing. He just had some thing about him that made you want to be around him.
so I ask you, those of you reading this, those of you who knew him , those of you who didn't know him , to please donate to his funeral and memorial, so that we can all say our last goodbyes to him. Again, anything you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Rest Peacefully JC.
