Funeral & Medical Expenses for Zabala Family

Hello,

We have started this Fundraiser to support the Zabala family as they face the loss of their 19 year old son, Jose Zabala, after an over 3 year battle with Cancer.

Being forced into such a battle at any point in life is devastating, but receiving such a diagnosis, while navigating the chaos that is high school and being a teenager seems like an impossible task to place upon anyone. But not for Jose.

Jose was a lively and resilient young man. He was the only boy amongst his 6 sisters. He was a big fan of football (49ers to be exact) and loved to be up & active. While in high school he even played on the school’s footballl team.

Throughout these last 3 years, Jose, underwent varies treatments, surgeries, and even periods of remission. Experiencing this for so long can only be called a superpower.

Unfortunately, after Jose turned 18 medical costs became out of pocket for the family, and due to the severity of his condition his mom had to leave her job to be by her son’s side and now faces medical and funeral costs.
