Funeral & medical expenses for Phillip & Zoe
Donation protected
The Rosas family has experienced an unexpected tragedy difficult for any parents to go through. With a heavy heart, we make a humble plea to family, friends, and the community to help raise funds for the funeral and medical expenses. Early Sunday morning, May the 8th, the family was driving home from a day out at Disneyland when a drunk driver ran a red light, T-Boning the family's vehicle just a few blocks away from home. Phillip Daniel Rosas, age 8, fought hard but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries during surgery. In contrast, his sister Zoye Marie age 12, lays in a medically induced coma following surgery on her tailbone and spleen removal. Please consider donating, as anything will genuinely help our family during this difficult time.
*** UPDATE***
Update: Thank you so much for the donations that have been made to date and providing the Rosas family some financial relief during these very difficult times. I have increased the goal amount as parents are working through funeral arrangements for Phillip; being there for their daughter Zoye, who went into surgery again this morning and continues to be in an induced coma, she will also need rehab after. In addition, Philip and Zoye‘s mother Maureen had to go back to the emergency room due to experiencing pain from the accident and will be needing additional care. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
****Update 5-11-22: ***Thank you everyone that has sent in donations for the Rosas Family, they are extremely grateful to all of you. Although we have reached the estimated goal amount set, the fundraiser will still remain open to continue to accept donations as the family has a long road ahead of them to recovery. Along with trying to plan a funeral for little Phillip, they are awaiting to see how Zoye responds to the treatment she is currently receiving and she will be needing rehabilitation.
Thank You.
