Funeral & Medical Expenses for Baby Zuri

With extreme sadness we are reaching out in hopes of raising money for the sudden medical & funeral expenses of our families precious Baby Zuri. Zuri was told he had a “bug” that may be going around, then 3 days later was taken to the ER with a fever and admitted to the hospital after showing signs of an infection in his blood.
Zuri was diagnosed with Bacterial Meningitis which caused swelling and bleeding in his brain. Within 24 hours he experienced multiple strokes and was life flighted to Primary Children’s Hospital for emergency brain surgery. It was just too much for his precious little body and he was then placed on life support. Zuri passed in his loving parent’s arms on June 7, 2022.
Zuri’s perfect sweet little dimpled smile, big bright curious eyes, and precious giggles and coos have brought so much joy and light into the world. He has touched so many hearts and is loved beyond measure. Any time with Zuri would instantly make your day better and we will all miss him greatly.
Some of his treatments included brain surgery, life flight, EEG, MRI’s, and much more at the PICU and the Primary Children’s Hospital.
His heartbroken mommy Mckynlee works so hard for him as a CNA. She helps people everyday working long hours. He was the center of her Universe, as he was all of ours!
As I’m sure you can imagine, the sudden and unexpected medical, funeral, & possible legal expenses to come will be nearly impossible to manage and any little bit would help.
Zuri’s grandmother had the idea of this fundraiser with the intent of making burdens a little lighter during this traumatic experience as we all grieve through the loss of our angel. After using funds to pay for any related expenses, if there are remaining funds, they may be used for anything Mckynlee’s mother sees appropriate & helpful in regards to her Callister family, which may/may not include: (Zuri’s grandmother/Kynlee’s mother) creating a charity for single mothers to receive therapy for grief in Zuri’s name, put in safe & controlled holding by Mckynlee’s mother for the purpose of ensuring Mckynlee has a positive future, etc.
