My name is Alexandria Larson and I

am asking for your assistance.

My loving husband (Daniel Larson) died after a extended illness on October 30th. We were married for 44 years and I am completely lost without him. I cannot work due to my own health issues, but served as his sole caregiver through his final days. I brought him home from the hospital to care for him so he wouldn’t be alone.

We were a family of limited means and lived off his Social Security benefits. Social Security withdrew the November payment immediately after I reported his death and I am desperately trying to get Survivor benefits but couldn’t get an appointment given the COVID backlog until mid-December. With all the emotional pain and stress death brings, it also brings unexpected financial burdens.

As social security took back the November payment, I am currently without any source of income or insurance and I’m struggling to pay bills and the funeral expenses (cremation).

I am in desperate need of financial assistance to help with rent, food, medical expenses, and monthly bills until I can get Social Security benefits approved.
