Kaylee Renae (Ables) Langer, 27, of Indianapolis, IN formerly of Huntertown, IN, went Home to the Lord on December 24, 2022, with her baby. Kaylee was born in Fort Wayne, IN to Robert “Bobby” and Lynn (Riley) Ables on April 11, 1995. Kaylee married Maxwell “Max” Langer on December 22, 2019, in Fort Wayne. She graduated from Carroll High School in 2013, Holy Cross College South Bend in 2017, and then went on to get her master’s from Valparaiso University in 2020. She was on the Carroll High School gymnastics team which lead her to coach at Jaycie Phelps Athletic Center in Indianapolis, IN and Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy. Kaylee also played soccer at Carroll High School and went onto be the captain of the soccer team at Holy Cross College. She loved serving and working with high-risk youth. Kaylee loved the beach and being in the water. She was the center of attention without even trying. She was adventurous, competitive, and brilliant. Kaylee loved her family and always cared for others. She was God’s light. Kaylee was an adoring wife, loving daughter, caring sister, devoted aunt, and terrific granddaughter.
Kaylee is survived by her husband, Max Langer of Indianapolis, IN; parents, Bobby and Lynn Ables; siblings, Alyssa (Brad) Minnick of Whitestown, IN and Logan (Mallorie) Ables of Fort Wayne, IN; niece, Riley Minnick; grandparents, Russell and Carolyn Riley of Fort Wayne, IN; father and mother-in-law, Heidi and Paul Langer of Bay Village, OH; sisters-in-law, Hayley Langer and Olivia Langer both of Bay Village, OH; her faithful dog, Penny Lane; and a host of relatives and friends.
