Be merciful to me, Lord , for I am in distress; my eyes grow weak with sorrow, my soul and body with grief. ~Psalm 31:9

On July 15, 2018 Sitay family heard the news no one ever is ready to hear that their beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away tragically. Viktor was a young man who had a beautiful and kind heart and all of his many nephews and nieces loved him to pieces. Viktor had many plans to get his life in order and reunite with his family in Oregon. The family is in a lot of pain and stress after hearing the news but at the same time there is so much to take care of. They are very kind and giving family. They always stayed together and helped each other out for as long as I can remember. We grew up together and I always seen the unity  between all the siblings and their beautiful parents. Their home is always open to anyone and everyone which stood out to me a lot when I was still a child.  Viktor has 5 sisters (Oksana, Marina, Olesya, Liliya and Alvina) and an older brother Alex with many brothers in law and a sister in law,  and his lovely mom and dad (Natalia and Vasily). They are all in need of support by prayer.  Nevertheless financially this is an expensive circumstance that no one is ever fully prepared to take on. The first and foremost goal today is to transfer Viktor across the country back to Oregon and then give him a proper burial.  A lot of you may know how giving and kind this family is and let us come together to help them in this time of tragedy and sorrow. We are praying that God takes them all in to His loving hands and carries them through this horrible time of loss. They are in the state of unbelief and brokenness but I know all the good people around can come together and bring a small but vital piece of relief and healing.  All the prayers and support are greatly appreciated.

‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4 NIV

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 NIV

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Psalm 34:8 NIV

This account was created for Sitay family.  All collected funds will be withdrawn directly to Olesya Bratkov (Viktor's sister)
