Dear Friends & Family,

I am writing to you today to let you know that our dear Patrick took his own life on Aug 4th after dealing with a long battle with depression. For the past 5 years, I have had the privilege to get to know Patrick, my brother-in-law, who was so smart, witty and creative. He was always so kind and thoughtful, always putting others before himself. Sharon, my wife and Patrick's oldest sister, would always bring him up in conversations and talk about how sweet her little brother was and proudly boast about how she had the best brother in the world. I remember when Sharon and I brought home our first puppy and had a hard time taking care of him. He was the first one to come over and help us take care of the pup. He was the type to always think of others and dreamt to help those that are sick and in need. There is so much more to Patrick and who he is and the mark he left behind that cannot be expressed through a few sentence on this page. Patrick was very loved by all of his friends and family and we wish we had more time to show and tell him that. Even though he lived a very private life, we knew he had more he wish he could've said and shared.

To those who were close to Patrick, he wanted them to know that he was thankful to them for providing him with countless memories that he could cherish and said that he appreciated them more than words could say. We hope this short message could help us remember what an impact he had in our lives , but if anyone is experiencing a mental health crisis, we want to urge you to reach out to please seek medical and personal help.

Patrick is survived by his mother, father, and his two older sisters.
