Funeral Funds for My Loving Dad, Victor

Hello, my name is Victoria and I am trying to raise funeral funds for my dad. He passed away this Sunday morning October 16 peacefully in his sleep. He has been ill from two strokes this whole year, which led to more health complications. I wasn't able to bring him his favorite foods or hold conversations like we used to before, but I visited him almost every day so that he knows that he was loved. He was a really strong person until the end of his life, but now he is with my grandma, who he missed a lot, and our other loved ones who have departed from this world.

I wish he were still here with us today. He loved watching movies/funny videos, playing board games, talking about each other's days, going to church every Sunday, going out to the beach, and going out to eat. He was a very loving and funny man. He would retell his corny dad jokes to everyone since he would often forget who he told them to. He loved to dance and listen to 70s music or mostly oldies and share them with me. He cared about a lot of people even strangers even though he was not doing well himself. My dad would always keep a smile on his face even though things were not going so well which means he had a big heart and I love him for being such a wonderful person and a great dad.

It's important that I give the proper burial to my dad since he was my best friend when I was a kid knowing I'll be his only child. I'm doing my best to stay strong just like him and I'm doing all that I can to take care of everything. My parents and I are from a low-income status ever since we lost our house and most of our finances back around the year 2009 when I was in 7th grade. We were even homeless for a while but together we were able to find a place to live. Now it's just me and my mom trying to fulfill our financial hardship which includes payments and bills that we have to take care of along with the emotional hardship from my dad passing away. We don't have any savings to help pay for my dad's funeral but any help will go towards my dad's funeral so he can rest peacefully knowing that we will be ok.
