Hi, my name is Britney, Merlyne’s eldest daughter, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart to ask for your help in honoring my incredible mom, Merlyne Agni, who passed away on November 27, 2024. Losing her has been an unimaginable pain, and while we are trying to stay strong for our family, the financial burden of planning a respectful funeral is overwhelming.

My mom was a true caregiver at heart and a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to so many. Throughout her life, she gave everything she had to care for others. She worked tirelessly, always putting her family first, and providing unwavering love and support to everyone around her. Her passing has left a void that is impossible to fill. She spent her life putting others first, always there for anyone who needed help, whether it was family, friends, or even strangers. She had a natural gift for nurturing and would go out of her way to offer support, both emotionally and physically, to those who needed it most. Her kindness and selflessness knew no bounds. She touched so many lives with her kindness, warmth, and generosity. She was the type of person who would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need, and now, in her time of passing, we are hoping to give her the respectful and dignified farewell she truly deserves.

Unfortunately, due to her unexpected passing, we don’t have the means to cover the funeral costs. The total amount for the funeral comes to $7,000. We have set up this GoFundMe campaign to ask for your support in raising these funds by the end of the year, as my mom’s funeral is expected to be held in January.
