Hi guys, I am writing this on behalf of Laurens family, please know this hasnt been done lightly. Lauren suddenly passed away on the morning of Friday the 6th of June 2025. As many of you know Lauren has battled with kidney disease & kidney failure for many many years and has spent a significant amount of time recently in hospital including ICU.

After several months in ICU, Lauren was discharged, however she was recently readmitted to the Glenfield hospital. Despite suffering so much, Lauren always kept a positive outlook on life and was making plans for her future with her family, friends and lovely doggy Marley. Sadly things took a turn and Lauren unexpectedly gained her angel wings.

Due to her sudden passing, Lauren nor her family were able to put contingency plans in place as this was completely unexpected. As you can imagine the financial stress alongside grieving for Lauren is immense. I am writing to her family and friends asking for any help towards giving her a funeral send of worthy of our Lauren. Any donations will be hugely appreciated and will be going directly towards the costs of her funeral, with anything spare being donated to Kidney Care UK. Whether you can spare 50p or £5, every donation means the absolute world. We just want her to have a beautiful goodbye ceremony.
