Dear friends,

It saddens us to announce the passing of our beloved friend, Jose Saavedra. His family is heartbroken and going through a very difficult time. The past year has been very challenging for the Saavedra family and now they grieve the death of Jose.

Jose brought so much joy to our surrounding community at Neighborhood Ministries. As you can imagine, in the last 24 hours since his passing, there has been an outpouring of love as people remember Jose. People remember him as genuine, having an infectious personality, a leader and someone who was passionate about God's love for himself and others. His passing has left a void in our hearts. We will miss seeing Jose walking in the community and greeting anyone in his path.

At the moment we are reaching out to the community for donations to help Judith with the burial expenses, and if possible, to help relieve some of the financial strains the Saavedra family will have during this time. Please consider helping the Saavedra family in their time of need.
