Dear Friends and Family,
With heavy hearts we, Daniel’s sisters, are writing this on behalf of our mother, Maria Villegas. Unfortunately, on the evening of February 7th, Daniel was suddenly taken away from us. Daniel had a long life ahead of him he was only 31 years young, in those 31 years he brought those who knew him absolute laughter and joy as he was able to bring light into a dark situation.
Daniel abruptly suffered from a heart attack which eventually lead to a heart transplant at the young age of 25. After overcoming those heart complications from a transplant, he had a newfound appreciation for life. His second chance was sadly cut short due to a second heart attack, leaving everyone who loved and cared for him with great sorrow and a feeling of emptiness.
We are asking for any contributions to help with any expenses to provide Daniel the final rest he deserves. Any contributions will be greatly appreciated from the bottom of our hearts as we mourn during these unexpected and difficult times.

Con gran pesar nosotras, las hermanas de Daniel, escribimos esto en nombre de nuestra madre, María Villegas. Desafortunadamente, en la noche del 7 de febrero, nos quitaron a Daniel de repente. Daniel tenía una larga vida por delante, solo tenía 31 años, en esos 31 años trajo a los que lo conocían absoluta risa y alegría, ya que fue capaz de traer luz a una situación oscura.
Daniel sufrió repentinamente de un ataque cardíaco que eventualmente lo llevó a un trasplante de corazón a la temprana edad de 25 años. Después de superar las complicaciones cardíacas de un trasplante, tuvo un nuevo aprecio por la vida. Su segunda oportunidad fue tristemente interrumpida debido a un segundo ataque al corazón, dejando a todos los que lo amaban y cuidaban con gran dolor y un sentimiento de vacío.
Estamos solicitando contribuciones para ayudar con los gastos para brindarle a Daniel el descanso final que se merece. Cualquier contribución será muy apreciada desde el fondo de nuestro corazón mientras lamentamos estos momentos inesperados y difíciles.
