Dear friends and family,

 

Our beloved Aubrey Bartlett II, 78, passed away on February 8th, 2022 at Mills-Peninsula Hospital, San Mateo, California. We are absolutely devastated by Aubrey’s passing.

I’ve started this fundraiser to help pay for Aubrey's memorial service and related costs.  Aubrey's son, Constantine Bartlett, and the rest of the family would be very grateful for your support during this difficult time.
 

The memorial service will be held at San Francisco Grace Cathedral, on March 24th at 2pm.  The funds will be used to cover the costs of the memorial service and related expenses to Aubrey's passing.

Aubrey will be remembered for his musical gifts as a pianist, his sense of humor, and his love of history, especially British history, and the arts. He maintained close ties to his ancestral homes of New Orleans and Baltimore. He enjoyed attending organ concerts at Grace Cathedral, films and watching Masterpiece Theatre on Public Television.

Aubrey is survived by his son Constantine Julian Bartlett of San Bruno, a stepson Slavik Lozben of San Carlos, a previous wife, Ludmila Bartlett of Sunnyvale and two sisters: Jeanne (Bartlett) Kerr of New Haven CT, and Olivia Bartlett of Albany, CA. A proud and devoted father, Aubrey loved going to Giants games with his son and watching him work as a baseball umpire, attending many of Constantine's games. 

Aubrey, a family friend of the Lozbens, met his stepson Slavik Lozben when Slavik was 20. Ironically their initial meeting was during Slavik’s dad’s funeral. Several years later Aubrey and Slavik’s mother,  Ludmila, grew close, fell in love and got married. Aubrey was a mentor, confidant and a good friend to his step son and a dear friend to Ludmila. They all remained very close until Aubrey’s passing.
