Funeral fundraiser for the loss of Paris Kress

On Friday, January 26th, 2024, an Angel was lost. Paris Alissa Kress, my sister, sadly passed away. At only 21 years old -absolutely nobody in our family was expecting this tragic loss.

Paris had addiction issues and recently she had expressed to her family desires to get clean; and was making strides to do so. She was supposed to be under the care of somebody she trusted, however no longer wanted to be with. For reasons unknown they purchased and supplied her with heavy drugs, and left her unsupervised for an extended length of time. She was later found unresponsive with no hope of revival due to being left alone for so long.

We as a family are hurt, angry, feeling helpless, and are all at the pit of our own sorrows as we navigate this grief. We know Paris was trying to leave this person/situation and come home; however she was simply unwell and unable, waiting for her strength to return. She sadly passed before that happened and now we are without our sister/daughter/aunt/granddaughter/cousin, we are without Paris.

Paris was a very beautiful and intelligent girl. She was loved dearly and adored greatly by her friends and family. She was a light in all of our lives, and that light has been diminished. Our family has been robbed of time with her and we’re looking to our community for help so that way we can mourn her correctly. We were never expecting to have to plan a funeral for her, and we do not wish to cremate her. She was everything to us. We want to be able to celebrate her as she deserves and visit her as a family, especially with her voicing her desire to come back to us prior to her passing.

Please consider donating to help us to be able to bury my little sister and lesson the burden of this tragic loss from my family. It isn’t fair when someone is taken from you far too soon and she had so much life to live. Funeral costs are close to $15k for the burial and all proceeds go directly towards that. Anything helps.
