In Memory of Officer Miguel “Mikie” Araujo, III – Honoring a Life of
Service
It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Border
Patrol Officer Miguel “Mikie” Araujo, III, age 46. He dedicated his
life to protecting our borders and serving our nation with courage, integrity,
and compassion. Prior, to his service at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, he also served
honorably with the United States Postal Service, always going above and beyond
to help others and make a difference in the lives of those he encountered.
Miguel “Mikie” Araujo, III was not only a devoted officer
but also a loving son/brother/uncle/husband, whose kindness and commitment
touched everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family,
colleagues, and community.
Those who knew Miguel will remember his steady kindness, strong work ethic,
and deep love for his family-especially his niece and nephews. Whether in
uniform or at home, he led with humility and heart.
This fund has been created to help support the Araujo family during this
heartbreaking time. All donations will go toward funeral expenses, family
support, and to ensure his loved ones have the care and stability they need in
the days ahead.
No amount is too small — every contribution, message, and share means the
world to those who are grieving this tremendous loss. Let us come together to
honor the memory of Officer Miguel “Mikie” Araujo, III, whose
service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
“A
life of service is a life well-lived. Rest easy, Officer Araujo-your duty is
done.”
Thank you for your generosity
and support.
