As a lot of the Zambian diaspora community in the UK may know we lost our mother, Janet Chimbanga Chileshe in the late hours of 1st April 2024

in Manchester.

Janet came to the UK in 2004 with her children Bwalya Chichi and Mwitwa and she has worked as a Registered Nurse for more than 20 years.

She was also a grandmother to Nyla and Jayden, she loved her grandkids.

Anyone that encountered Mom will know what a lovely person she was, very active and supportive in social circles like ZOCF and women's events.

It is sad that she had to go after a short battle with High grade Glioma.

We are really going to miss her.

Burial arrangements were made and we put our mother to rest on 23rd April 2024.
