Fundraising for Funeral expenses for beloved Father of Former Cardinal Leger Lancers Bonnie-Leigh and Mark Gould.

WayneDonald ‘Don’ Wayne Gould, 74, passed away on Sunday January 16th 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton. Joining his older sister, Rose, for her birthday. Don was born on June 21st, 1947, eldest son of Clarence Joseph Gould and Ethel Louise Gould (nee Young) in North Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

Don did not enjoy traditional schooling, preferring the School of Hard Knocks. He said you could learn everything you needed to know from books or the internet. He worked many jobs throughout his life: moving train-carts, as a dishwasher, a carpet salesman, a contractor, and finally as a cabinet-maker and home renovator at his company Gould Kitchen Renewal & Upgrade.

Don will be remembered for his strength and his big heart that always put family first. His intelligence and his sense of humor will be missed. He was never shy to start up a conversation and share a joke or two; always looking for ways to make you laugh.

A proud and loving father, Don took every opportunity to prepare his children to lead fulfilling lives and was a champion of all their successes. His greatest accomplishments in life were his children and his legacy will live on through his daughter Bonnie-Leigh and his son Mark Wayne.

He will be missed by family and friends in Ontario and Nova Scotia.
