Funeral fundraiser for Christine Opondo

It is with great sadness and humble acceptance that we announce the passing of Christine Ogada Opondo in California, USA on July 29th 2022. Christine bravely fought bladder cancer for over 2 years. Christine was the wife of the late Joe Opondo of Asembo. She was the mother of Roy Opondo, James Opondo, Alice Opondo and Maureen Opondo. She was the step-mother to Valentine Akoth Opondo. She was also grandmother to Genevieve, David, and Kendall. She was the daughter of the late Williams A. Anguka, and the late Roselidah O. Anguka. She was the sister to the late Lawrence Olao, Pamela Oddotte (UK), the late Patrick Odera Anguka, Evans Anguka, the late Elizabeth Okumu, Beatrice Okoth, Jonah Anguka, Fred Anguka, Ambrose Anguka, the late Ruth Owitty, and Dan Anguka.

She was sister in-law to Edward Ogola Onyulo, the late Tito Alomba, Jared Otieno Onyulo, George Onyulo, Maureen Okomo of Asembo, Mary Olao of Kisumu Karateng’, Annette Odera, Betty Evans, Fred Okumu (USA), the late William Okoth, Susan N. Anguka, Molly Anguka, Doris Anguka, Susan Amisi Anguka. Aunty to many nieces and nephews and Grandmother to many.
