Hi, my name is Eli and I'm fundraising on behalf of my sister, Taya, to help offset the costs for my beautiful niece Sofyas funeral and memorial service.

If you were lucky enough to know Sofya, you know how much she meant to everyone. She was a shining light in this dark world. She had a smile and laugh that was so contagious that it had you thinking about it even when she wasn't around. Sofya battled mitochondrial disease and the many ailments that came with it, but that little girl was such a warrior that even that monster of a disease couldn't tamper her positivity. It made whatever you had going on seem so insignificant and would make you think "why the hell am I letting this get to me?". Everyone, even complete strangers, who crossed paths with Sofya immediately fell in love with her and her bubbly spirit.

On Sunday, May 15th 2022, Sofya passed away unexpectedly. The world came crashing down instantly for this family. Our shining light is no longer there.

Funds are being directed right to Taya.

Funds will be used to offset the costs for the funeral service. Anything in excess with help the family out due to lost wages as Taya takes the time she needs to grieve.
