Funeral Fund for Marinea Erp

Edit: I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has donated to this fundraiser, shared it, and shown support. Our family has laid Marinea to rest, and we are humbled and grateful for the love and support that you have all shown. Though we have said our goodbyes, her memory and our love for her will continue on. I will keep this fundraiser up for another two weeks for anyone who still wishes to donate. After tabulating the final expenses and receiving other donations, I have lowered the fundraising goal to more accurately reflect what is left to cover. Thank you all so much. Words cannot sufficiently express our gratitude during this difficult time. I will be making the effort to try and individually thank everyone for their incredible generosity.

As you have all come to know, on Saturday, April 9th, Marinea Erp was taken from us far too soon and was the victim of homicide. There is an ongoing investigation into the events leading to her death and the person(s) responsible. We ask that anyone with information about who may have committed this heinous crime to please come forward with anything you know that could help the investigation.

 

This sudden and awful loss has left us profoundly hurt and bereft. Marinea was a genuinely selfless and loving person who would do anything to help those whom she loved. Her generosity was rivaled only by her adventurous nature and love for the outdoors, people, plants, and animals. We will miss her smile and laughter while cherishing all the fond memories of when she was with us. While we process the pain and emotions of losing someone so dear, we are making the arrangements to give her a proper burial and memorial service.
