Funeral Fund for Jabari's Unexpected Death
Donation protected
Hello my name is Sarah. I am Jabari’s fiancé. On 05/05/25 I came home from work and found the love of my life and my best friend lifeless in our bedroom. His sudden death came as a complete shock. There were no warning signs or any visible symptoms and was completely unexpected.
Jabari had been diagnosed with end stage renal failure and congestive heart failure due to high blood pressure in January of 2020. He was put on dialysis and could no longer live a normal life. Over the course of five years I witnessed his condition progress. It was really hard on him both physically and mentally but he never gave up. He had started doing dialysis at home, which is less aggressive on the body, and was better for him mentally. He had an appointment on May 20th to begin the process of getting on the transplant list and receiving a new kidney in about a year or so.
This was an extremely traumatizing experience. I can’t eat or sleep, and I am having panic attacks. I am experiencing the most incredibly heavy and painful grief that has left me unable to go to work. Despite struggling to get through the day, I am also planning his services and with the help of my family, I am also paying for his service and cremation. Jabari and I were planning on getting married in the summer and having that ripped away and now having to plan his funeral instead has left me absolutely devastated.
I am looking to raise some money in order to pay my family back, cover some of my lost wages, and to help with covering the new expenses that I will now have to take on due to his passing.
