Funeral fund for Eugene Chen

Dear friends & colleagues,

It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you of the passing of our beloved “Bean”, who’s time on this Earth came to an end on Friday, May 24, 2024.

Those close to him are familiar with his recent and abrupt-onset health struggles, as well as the consequent financial burden placed upon him & his family.

We are all shocked by his sudden and unexpected passing, though, particularly devastated are his mother & father who must now deal with the greatest possible grief our world holds – the untimely loss of a child.

This fundraiser aims to help Eugene's parents cover the cost of the funeral services. The costs associated with a funeral are high as-is, but Eugene's parents were furthermore burdened with great financial strain and missed work whilst caring for him over the course of his struggle.

We felt it was only right to open this fundraiser to come together and support our friend for what will unfortunately be the final time.
