I am sharing this on behalf of LaJuanda.
Hello everyone. Me and and my family are heartbroken over the sudden loss of my youngest son, Donald Ray Davis, Jr. aka DJ.
He left us way too soon, at the age of 31 years old.
If you remember him, you all will know what a sweet and tender soul he was to everybody he met. So caring, considerate, thoughtful, and always putting others before himself. His huge smile lit up the room when he walked into it. One of his favorite things to do was to go to a secluded part of the beach and watch the waves and meditate. His favorite colors were red and navy blue.
Donald is survived by his mother LaJuanda Finley, father Donald Ray Davis, Sr., brother Cornelius Lindsey aka Corky, half-brother, Darius Davis, and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.
This time comes at an unfortunate time due to the loss of LaJuanda's job, as a result of the pandemic we are now facing. The family thanks you for your prayers, good thoughts and loving support. If you are able to contribute to DJ's memorial fund, it will be greatly appreciated.
A celebration of life will be held at the beach on Saturday, October 17, 2020.
More information about the gathering and paying respects will be posted here as it becomes available.
Thank you all in advance for your kindness and gratitude.
Blessings to all.
