Funeral Fund for Cory Mandryk

On May 22, shortly after 1:00 pm, Cory lost his battle with cancer. He fought so hard & was determined he was staying with us until his 1st wedding anniversary to my sister Deb, on June 12. He was stubborn, that's for sure. Unfortunately, his body wouldn't allow it & we are left with the goodbye.

 

48 years in this world - far too young to be gone.

 

The last year and a half have been financially difficult for Deb & Cory. Many trips to the Cross Cancer Institute & recently Cory being in Camrose Hospital. It has taken a toll on Deb & I cannot imagine going through this with minimal funds. There is nothing fancy planned - I want to ensure that less stress is placed on Deb right now.

 

Thank you to each of you who has been so supportive. The text message and the calls - thank you. Deb truly appreciates the love.

 

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 31 at 2:00pm at the Bashaw Community Centre - 5020 52 St, Bashaw, AB T0B 0H0.  All are welcome to attend.  Light refreshments & assorted desserts will be served immediately after - please feel free to stay & share stories about Cory.
