Funeral Fund for Baby Noah
Beautiful Baby Noah is my boyfriend, Kevin Goodwin's first grandson. Born to his son Kyle Goodwin and his fiancé Hope Boettcher on Friday, March 24, 2017. A near perfect pregnancy and pretty much textbook delivery. He weighed in at 8 lbs, 6ozs. Pure bundle of baby boy JOY! Noah came home from the hospital with his proud parents to his new nursery which had been lovingly prepared with furniture Kevin custom built for him just 2 weeks ago.
Noah went for his first scheduled check up with the pediatrician on Tuesday morning with the only complaint being that he was being a bit fussy about eating. While at the doctor's office Noah inexplicably started having convulsions, he was rushed to the local hospital, where his parents were told there was bleeding in his brain. They did a spinal tap and stabilized him for transport to Nemours Pediatric Hospital in Delaware.
Noah spent the night there and everyone gathered in the morning hoping for good news about his progress.
There was no good news, the news was as grave as it could be.... Bacterial Meningitis. Noah would not be able to recover from the fluid built up in his brain and his liver was barely functioning. The poor little guy was on life support.
Noah passed away with his loving family by his side. He wasn't even with us for a week.
Noah's parents are young, just kids themselves, not even drinking age yet! Besides being completely devastated, they are not in a very stable financial position for the expenses of the funeral and memorial services. I'm hoping to help them in any way I can. $5 or $10 dollars from 200 or 300 friends could help a lot!
