Larry Joseph Voss, an Airforce veteran and aged 63, was taken from this world too soon in a cycling accident on December 22nd.

You could feel every word he spoke and he was one to talk about love and forgiveness rather than pain and anger. It was one of the great reasons he never met a stranger, but rather everyone he met became his friend. Your car, your house, or anything else you owned got fixed by Larry. If it was his last dollar he would give it away.

While he helped others, it became more difficult in his later years to help himself with employment on account of the physical pain he developed from prior accidents.

He fell from a ladder about 15 years ago, but being the kind soldier he was he gladly went back up on one to help his local church put up Christmas lights in the years he worked as their janitor during and after COVID.

His pain developed much more after a mechanic accident and he once said, "I can't stand as a human-doing but I can as a human-being."

He also said, "My only fear was the loss and love of Jesus Christ." He lived with daily faith to provide God's will not his own.

Larry will be remembered for what he gave, his laugh that sounded like he stood atop the Grand Canyon, and a heart that never gave out.

All donations received will be used for payment to the funeral home for expenses incurred preparing the body for burial, transportation, and other services.
