My dad died on February 1st 2022. He died of a massive "heart event". He had been sick for the last 10 years of his life and fought every step of the way. He was a major diabetic and diabetes played a huge role in his death.

We went and made all the arrangements at the funeral home and the funeral home is going to accept life Insurance as payment for the funeral.

The cemetery however requires $1,895 in cash or check in order for him to be buried or they will not bury him. The life insurance that my dad had doesn't cover the burial for some reason.

My family does not have $1,895 that we can come up with before Monday at 4:00. My dad and step mom just bought a house and are in the process of selling their old house. Everyone else is so broke after paying all the bills that has to be paid that we don't know how to bury him.
