I am writing this on behalf of my cousins who are trying to raise funds to have a proper burial for their sister (my cousin). We were rocked to hear this past Monday (Aug. 10) morning that Tasha was found lifeless at home. Our family has faced so many heartaches this year alone, as many of you have. Even though many of us are facing our own difficulties one thing that keeps us together is the blood that unites us as family. With this loss of Tasha, our hearts are grieving for healing. Tasha's funeral will aide as a bandage for a time, but it will help with the healing in our family as well.
With this and the challenges of Covid we are left hurting even more. It has created restrictions of travel and financial difficulties that only makes this burden harder to bear. Our deepest desire is to say good bye to our sister, mother, daughter, cousin, and friend. Will you please consider helping us do so?
Tasha has been fighting the good fight of life for the last several years, so this comes as a surprise and shock to many of us. Leaving behind many family members near and far, we want to give them all the chance to say goodbye for the last time.
We are currently preparing for arrangements with Roberts Funeral Home, and this is the only way we can even attempt to make this possible.
Your gift would not only help us for a proper funeral with a last viewing but also cremation. For you, it might be a sweet gift, but for us it is a way to give love and decency to Tasha in our goodbyes. We can't do it without you.
