Our beloved Sam was tragically taken from us the morning of August 1st. Sam was a wonderful son, brother, father, and friend who touched the lives around him with a simple yet contagious smile. He leaves behind 2 young daughters, ages 5 and 7.

We are all devastated by Sam’s passing and were not prepared for the high cost of his medical care and funeral service. We want to give Sam the burial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.

We are currently asking for donations to help cover these costs. Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help our family and his daughters during this difficult time.

UPDATE 08/22/2022: At the request of GoFundMe, we have been asked to be more specific as to where these funds will go and who will benefit from them. We have agreed as a family that these funds will go to his children. Erica Tomas Gembe, mother of Sam's kids, will manage these funds.

Nuestro amado Sam fue trágicamente arrebatado de nosotros la mañana del primero de agosto. Sam fue un hijo, hermano, padre y amigo maravilloso, que tocó las vidas a su alrededor con una sonrisa simple pero contagiosa. Deja 2 hijas pequeñas de 5 y 7 años.

Hemos acordado como familia que estos fondos se destinarán a los hijos de Sam. Erica Tomas Gembe, madre de los hijos de Sam, administrará estos fondos.
