As most of you already know, My dad Ralph Garcia passed away January 15th 2021. It came as a surprise to all of us, since early December he was in a rehab facility due to health conditions. While he was in the facility he contracted covid. He was about to finish his quarantine and come home, unfortunately a few days before he was suppose to come home he started having trouble with his oxygen levels and blood pressure. He ended up going to the ER to be monitored and on Friday morning he suffered a cardiac arrest. They were able to resuscitate him and put him on a machine, my father always told us he never wanted to be kept alive by life support. Due to his underlining health conditions even the doctor stated he would most likely not make it through the night. So on Friday we all made the tough decision to take him off the machine and let him go peacefully, he took his last breath at 2:03pm. My parents had a life insurance policy for the last 21 years but a year ago they dropped my father due to him not passing a required reevaluation physical. My dad was never one to ask for help, he always wanted to help others. One of the hardest things for us to do during this time is to reach out and ask for a blessing.
