Tragically, 19 year old Phoenix Andersen's life was taken on Friday, March 3rd, due to a motorcycle accident. Phoenix was a loving, compassionate, giving and devoted son and brother. Phoenix had 11 siblings, he was the eldest of six boys and had five sisters. Phoenix's family is exceptionally close and the loss of Phoenix has shattered his entire family.
Phoenix truly lit up a room with his smile and the twinkle in his eyes. Phoenix was full of personality and loved to make others smile.
He made a lasting impression on all that he met. As one of Phoenix's friend's wrote, "Phoenix lived his live to the fullest he could, he didn't waste time stressing about temporary conditions, work, school or anything... he gave his all in everything he did and didn't stop there. He enjoyed life, he put a lot of time and effort into his friends and having a good time, making sure everyone else was having a good time too."
I personally met Phoenix and his family in 2013 when Phoenix enrolled in Gorman Learning Center. Phoenix was my student until he graduated with honors in 2015. I currently am Aidan, Misty and Roman's teacher for Gorman Learning Center. Over the last five years I have observed the love, respect and deep bond that Christine and her children have for each other. It is my hope that this fundraiser will help ease some of the financial burden that the cost of a funeral can cause.
Phoenix was loved dearly by all that had the pleasure of knowing him. Phoenix will be missed deeply and his smile will never be forgotten.
Christine, Phoenix's loving mom, is a single working mom. Any and all donations are appreciated, nothing is too small. All donations will go to funeral costs and anything else the family may need.
