Raising funds for the Catholic funeral of Nicandro Sanchez Bañuelos.

Nicandro passed away on May 29th, 2025, at approximately 10 PM with his wife and children by his side at St. Joseph's Hospital after a long battle with terminal cancer.

Nicandro had finished radiation treatments at St. Joseph's 2 weeks before passing.

On Tuesday, May 27th, he signed himself out of Creekside Care's rehabilitation facility with a desire to be home with his family and his dog, Miston, before passing.

He was a father, husband, brother, and friend.

Some of his simplest joys in life included tending to his garden, spending time in nature, his morning cup of coffee, teaching his children how to work and drive, and watching fútbol with his family.

Funds raised will be allocated towards the following costs: funeral home expenses ($5,400), church services ($500), flower arrangements, burial costs ($8,926), and transportation.

Any remaining funds will be donated to St. Gertrude's Catholic Church to help reach their monetary goal for replacing the church's leaking roof, as per Nicandro's desire to support the church he attends.
