Funeral for my Mom and Brother
Donation protected
With heavy hearts, our family is saddened to announce the passing of our matriarch Ana María Sanchez. She died of COVID-19 and pneumonia complications on the night of December 30, 2020 at the age of 82. Her children knew her as Ama and her grandchildren knew her as Abuelita, and others knew her as Anita. Ana’s death brings to our family much sadness and grief, as she was known by many for her kind heart and lovable personality.
In addition to the loss of our Abuelita, her son Florentino “Mono” Gutierrez died ten days later of COVID-19 and diabetes complications at the age of 49, and her son Juan Manuel “Indio” Reyna died of diabetes and kidney failure in May 2020 at the age of 61. With the passing of Ana and two of her sons within the last seven months, our family is experiencing emotional and financial hardships more than ever. We never expected to lose our Abuelita and our Tíos so soon.
At this time, we are asking for your generosity and kindness in helping to conduct a memorial and ceremony to celebrate and honor Ana’s life. Alongside her son Florentino, there will be the following services conducted at Jesse Cooley Jr. Funeral Chapel at 1830 South Fruit Avenue, Fresno CA 93706:
FEBRUARY 4, 2021
VISITATION: 4 PM-8PM
ROSARY: 6PM
February 5, 2021
MASS: 1PM
Our family would be beyond grateful for any and all donations, financial assistance, and prayers during this extremely difficult time. Thank you so much for helping us celebrate the lives of Ana and Florentino.
