I Lost My Big Brother to COVID-19
Donation protected
On September 25 my big brother, Tyrone Nelson, celebrated his 43rd birthday. At the time he was struggling with health challenges due to diabetes. However, we did not know it would be the last birthday he would ever celebrate.
On Saturday, December 26, one day after Christmas 2020 he passed away in Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, Georgia due to complications associated with COVID-19. As one of the many victims of this year’s pandemic our family, like many others, were totally unprepared for his diagnosis. We are also tragically distraught that due to his contraction of the coronavirus he transitioned alone in ICU instead of surrounded by his loved ones.
Now, unfortunately we are left to unexpectedly prepare his services with no financial means to lay him to rest. The thought of not being able to come together to at least properly lay him to rest is unthinkable. Therefore, I am asking for your support.
Tyrone leaves behind an adoring mother, father, siblings, and five children to grieve his passing:
Tamariye’ Nelson - age 24
Destiny Ross - age 19
Camden Nelson - age 16
Joshua Nelson - age 14
Princeton Nelson - age 2
We are all broken-hearted to have lost someone like him. He was extremely loving and caring. He was always the life of the party, always on the go and always willing to spread his joy onto all those around him. He was so handsome and his big heart could only be surpassed by his huge smile. I only have one older sibling. And I was so lucky to have a big brother like him forever in my corner.
So I am asking on behalf of our father, Paul Nelson, and my nieces and nephews, to please give any amount you can to help with his services. All proceeds will go directly to his mom to pay for all of his final expenses. No amount is too small, but in these trying times if you cannot give I ask that you hold our family in your sincerest of prayers. This has been a horrible ending to a trying year. So please help us send my brother to his final resting place.
I love and thank you all in advance. You can also give directly using my cash app $genoathomas .
