Everyone knew my dad, Michael Hill as "Pop or OG". He was a father to 7 but a dad to so many people. Every person who ever ran across my father, even for a second, they will instantly fall in love with his beautiful old school heart. A heart made out of pure gold. My father will sit you down & give you advice I still hear on the streets now to young people in my neighborhood. Always made sure everyone was good. My father was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer about 2 months ago. I've watched my father fight such a good fight. One of the strongest fighters I know. I'm so proud of him After numerous surgeries & chemo, my father died from heart failure. We just lost his son (my brother) from gun violence 4 months ago. This has been so hard on my family. After starting to plan my fathers funeral, we determined that he didn't have a life policy. Now we are forced to pay for my dads going away ceremony out of pocket. I know times are rough for everyone during this pandemic. This year has been horrible for all of us. But I have limited time to bury my dad & give him the funeral I think he deserves. Please help my family to lay him to rest.
