Funeral For Luis Cruz Sr

My name is Luis Cruz Jr.  The man in this photo is my father, Luis Cruz Sr. My dad was everything anyone could’ve ever been. He was a father, a husband, a comedian, a cook, a dreamer, a righteous hero, a loyal friend, a good time, and a fighter.  Most of all, he was human. He taught my siblings and I so much during his time here. We watched him in his highs and his lows, but no matter what he always expressed to us how important it is to be real and how important it is to live our lives....and that there is nothing else other than right now, there is only this moment. He always told us how proud he was of all of us and supported us in every interest we’ve ever had.... This man would go to the furthest extent to show his support. He truly loved everyone in his circle unconditionally.
He gave us and everyone else everything we could ever hoped for and more.

This man, would never ask for anything in return because he did everything out of the kindness of his gracious heart. But this is a time of need, not just for his funeral, but for our family. These times are very hard here in 2020 and none of us were prepared for this. So my family and I are asking for any donations possible just to help us make this right for him. We want to send him off the exact way he wanted and we’d be lying if we said we didn’t need your help.

We love all of you, HE loved all of you and I want you all to know that we are here for you just as much as you are all here for us. We are all family and we’re in this together.


Also, if any of you have any photos of my dad that you’d like to send me, please do.  I am putting together a slideshow for his viewing and would like to have it done by Tuesday.
