Funeral for Liam Davis

Scott and his wife, Ora, have provided the best of care for their severely disabled son, Liam, but the demands have impacted them deeply physically, emotionally, and financially. Liam was born with a disease called Myotubular Myopathy. It is an extremely rare and debilitating type of Muscular Dystrophy in which the muscles never develop. The oldest known victim of this disease lived to the age of twenty-three.

At the age of 20, Liam passed away on August 7, 2023. Liam is a beautiful soul who loved, and was loved by his parents, grandparents, and many friends and family members while being confined to a wheelchair, and permanently on a breathing tube and feeding tube.

In addition to Liam's disabilities, Ora is legally blind. Scott and Ora have done an amazing job of taking care of their son with the help of nursing support, which was not always available.

The state was constantly changing Liam's health benefits. The expenses for supplies (vents, suctioning equipment, tubes, chucks, diapers, medications), which he constantly needed were considerable, and at times Scott and Ora had to pay for his insurance, or supplies, out of their own pockets.

Scott and Ora never complain and have rarely asked for any help in the past. They are in a difficult financial situation and need a few thousand more dollars to cover Liam's funeral expenses. Please help this worthy couple as they grieve for their special son.
