My dear Oroko family in Maryland/ DC metro,  the Bana ba Rikome family and the Oroko USA community at large, friends , well wishers, it's with profound sorry that I announce to you the sudden death of our brother Mukete Wilfred. Wilfred arrived the United States in the fall of 2005, to seek  greener pasture for him and his lovely family. But unfortunately things didn't work out as he anticipated.  Two years upon his arrival he lost his wife Maggie back home in Cameroon and for obvious reasons he was unable to attend the funeral . He was devastated by the wife's death and faded into oblivion. From this point forward he was focused on assisting his children back home and and grappling with the arduous battle of regularizing his status as a documented alien, but that never happened for his close to 15 years. Wilfred indeed spent a significant part of his stay here in the US spanning across three states to obtain legal status but luck was never on his side until the cold hand of death snatched him last April 25th 2020, leaving behind five orphan children and a grand son who will not be lucky to see his mortal remains. My dear brothers and sisters it is within this context that, we are humbling asking  " hat in hand" for your generous assistance  to help lay our brother to rest and assist those Orphan children he leaves behind in Cameroon.
