You always remember the mates you had when you were young, the ones that helped you through that awkward journey from a boy to a teenager to a man. Laine was one of those mates for me.
Sadly, he took his own life last Saturday night. He was only 37 years young. He is survived by his grieving partner and his three beautiful children: Skye, Jordin and Wyatt. He also leaves behind his brothers Michael and Troy and his sisters Sarah and Candice, as well has his nieces, nephews, Aunties, Uncles and cousins. Laine's parents passed away years ago from cancer. I hope he's resting easy with them.
This unexpected event wasn't something anyone could have prepared for, least of all financially. Laine's family are struggling to put together the funds to give Laine the send off that he deserves.
Oh behalf of his family, I am asking everyone if they could chip in a couple of bucks to help lay a wonderful man to rest with the dignity he deserves and to help a grieving family say farewell to their beloved Laine. Every little bit helps.
Funds will be paid directly to the funeral home for the cost of the funeral.
