Gone too soon... Funeral expenses for Jon Holliday

A mother and father should never have to lose a child.  Along with the heartbreak of such an unexpected tragedy comes unexpected financial burdens.  Laura and Todd Holliday have suddenly lost their amazing son Jon Holliday.  He was my nephew and someone that brought joy to the lives of others, even while serving our country for 5 years as a Navy Corpman.  I feel his brother said it best "Jon was fun, forgiving, caring, non-judgmental, brave, strong, sweet, hardworking, and smart, and though we may not be able to fight back our smiles in his contagious presence, I know he is in the presence of the only one who could satisfy his unquenchable thirst for harmony, love, and friendship."  We are heartbroken, as the world has lost one of its sweetest souls.  Jon was living in Louisiana at the time of his death, but his home is in Michigan.  Along with traditional funeral expenses, his parents also must transport his body back to Michigan for the burial.  This family should not have to worry about finances at this horrible time of grief.  I am asking everyone and anyone to please consider helping Laura and Todd in not worrying how the cost will be covered and to focus only on mourning their loss in comfort and peace.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation, helping his family honor him and the light that he brought to the world.
