Funeral for Herbert D Collier

Dear Friends and Family. Our beloved Herbert (my father) passed away on Thursday September 28, 2023. He was a wonderful dad, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. The family is devastated by the loss, however we were not prepared for the funeral costs being that he did not have life insurance. I am asking that those who knew him, along with those who would simply like to help, give whatever you can give to make sure that he receives a proper burial.

I am my father's only child, and as many of you may know I am currently undergoing cancer treatment. A few months after my diagnosis my father was diagnosed with cancer as well and unfortunately succumbed to his illness in a short period of time. All money received will be used toward his funeral and towards the cost of having his body transferred from Beaumont TX to home (Shreveport, LA). Whatever you can give in these trying times will be greatly appreciated along with thoughts and prayers for the family.
