Funeral for Genevieve Comager

Dear friends and family,

I am writing to you today to let you know about the tragic loss of a precious baby girl, Genevieve Comager, who was a bright light in this world and taken much too soon. Genevieve was the first grandbaby of my dear friend, Donald Comager. My heart breaks for Donald and his entire family during this painful and challenging time. I pray that the Comager family will find comfort in knowing that Genevieve is resting in eternal peace with our creator.

As you can imagine, the Comager Family is absolutely devastated by Genevieve’s sudden passing and is struggling to make sense of such an incomprehensible tragedy. Because the Comager family was not prepared for the financial burden that follows such a loss, they are struggling to find the funds to cover the efforts to get Genevieve back home to Louisiana, as well as the costs associated with a proper funeral service. Thus, I have created a fundraiser with the hopes of relieving some of the hardships my dear friend is currently facing.

Based on quotes received from several local funeral homes and data from the National Funeral Director’s Association, I have set my fundraising goal at $7,800.00 – with a breakdown of the costs involved below:

*Use of facilities – funeral ceremony

*Transportation of Remains (interstate – New York to Louisiana)

*Burial Plot

*Death Certificate

*Obituary

*Basic Funeral Service Fees

Donald Comager: beneficiary

This GoFundMe fundraising effort is set up with Donald Comager as the beneficiary. I am trying to raise money to help Donald during this difficult time, as he is my dear friend and work colleague. When the donations stop coming in, I will close the GoFundMe page and I will write Mr. Comager a check for 100% of the funds received. He plans to use this money for the costs associated with Genevieve’s death. I would like to thank everyone again who has donated and I ask that we all keep the Comagers in our prayers.
