Funeral Donations for Dexter Jackson Jr

Dear friends and family,

My name is Ashley and I am the baby sister of Dexter Jackson Jr. I am here today with a heavy heart, as my beloved brother experienced an unexpectedly rapid decline with his health. Our wonderfully, kind, and loving Dexter passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at only 36 years old, after battling with congestive heart failure.

Dexter's health had taken an unforeseen turn after being hospitalized for over a year and a half. As a result, my mother and I became solely responsible for his care. Dexter was on and off the ventilator for many months and had multiple surgeries. He then became paralyzed from the waist down, tremendously altering the quality of his life. Although his sickness took a toll on his physical, mental, and emotional well-being, he was always in good spirits and sure to leave you with a smile on your face.

Our family has suffered great hardship for the past year and a half with hospital bills, medical, and travel expenses during his hospitalizations out of state. We are devastated by Dexter’s passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the funeral service. The costs of funeral expenses and the accumulation of outstanding medical bills equate to $25,000.

We humbly ask for your support and contribution to honoring Dexter's memory by easing the financial strain of the funeral arrangements and medical expenses.
