Funeral for Daniel Salomon
Donation protected
On Saturday, February 20, 2021, our family received the most devastating news that my beloved brother, Daniel Salomon, had passed away.
Daniel had health problems related to his heart, that some may or may not have known. He was born with the problems and fought when he was a baby, and during his adult life.
8 years ago, his heart problems almost took him away from us, and then 2 years ago, we had another scare, but God let us have this extra time with him and we are endlessly thankful for that.
This time, Daniel’s body and heart could not handle the trauma that was occurring to him. He fought a hard battle all the way until the end, but he is finally at peace now and no longer in pain.
Daniel was scheduled to have surgery last year, but unfortunately because of Covid, it was put off. He was going to have his surgery this year and he looked forward to it. In fact, in his own words he said that his heart was full of love and his mind was centered with optimism when talking about his surgery. However, God called him before that.
We are heartbroken. Daniel was a loving father to his two sons, Joseph “Joey” (17) and Gabriel “Gabe” (16), and his daughter Daniella “Ella” (4) and always wanted the best for them and did his best as a father. Daniel was a loving son who called our mother multiple times a day to just talk with her, and now he may rest with his father in heaven. Daniel was a loving brother and just always wanted to be around his siblings and spend time with all of us and never wanted any of us to fight. Daniel was a loving uncle and treated his nieces and nephews with the kind of love a sibling gives. Most importantly though, Daniel was loving as just himself. He was intelligent, caring, thoughtful, opinionated, smart, kind, gentle, and had the biggest heart you could ever imagine.
This came unexpectedly and we are handling as a family as much as possible. Planning his funeral is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do, but with your help and if you are able to donate (anything even $5), it will help to alleviate the unexpected and unfortunate cost to lay him to rest.
