Dear family & friends,

Today, I am writing to inform you that our beloved Lina-Kai Williams has passed away this past weekend. Our family is devastated and raising money for all funeral costs that will help her peacefully rest with our Heavenly Father.

We planned our first family vacation to Puerto Peñasco, Mexico for mom's birthday & Mother's Day. Unfortunately May 7th Lina suddenly collapsed on the beach. Mom did her best to resuscitate her with CPR, but she was without oxygen long before paramedics got her to the nearest medical center in Sonora. Finding a mortuary in Mexico and finding a way to get her back to the U.S. has been the most challenging obstacle to deal with.

Lina was born with a heart condition, HCM, that limited her to a lot of things in life. She had a cardiac arrest at 5 months, and doctors told us that she would possibly have another one, but it would be unpredictable. We decided to take her home and do our best to ensure she was given an extraordinary life for as long as possible.

We are thankful for any amount donated, and we appreciate each of you who has reached out with your thoughts, love, & prayers. We will continue to work on giving Lina the best farewell we can because she deserves it. She was always a happy baby for those who didn't know her. No matter how much pain she was in, you could never tell she had a condition she was fighting. She was very independent and would always make everyone laugh, even if she didn't know them. She will be missed dearly and forever in our hearts.
