Funeral for a friend /Richard Perez

We lost a brother, but heaven gained a great one.


Richie touched so many lives and put so many smiles on so many faces. Anybody that came across him seen all the joy, happiness and love that he lived with. He smoked to his happiness, cracked inappropriate jokes and his laugh could make a group of people join in. Ritchie loved life, loved his family and loved all of his friends who he looked at as his extended family.

We come to you all in part because we want to share our see you later to him, but also in part because without each and every one of you we cannot send him off the way he deserves. All of the proceeds donated to his go fund me will go to paying his funeral service, engraving on headstone and burial. Please help us bury our brother and best friend. My brother Anthony will be the beneficiary of all donations and will put all the funds toward the service.

In a lot of ways rich saved a lot of us. When he picked us up whenever we needed him and made sure we got home safe, or took us to an event. When he laughed with us and gave us advice, or when he cried with us when we talked about the future and goals that we were scared that we would never reach. Richie was the lovable brother who wasn’t perfect, but was always there with genuine love.


Thank you all for your time remember that Richie loved us and is watching from above....With a smile and some teary eyes because he loved us all, though in a happier place. Let’s get this last gift from our hearts to him.
