Funeral & Final Expenses for April “Sissy” Brewer

Hi, my name is Nikki Tickle. My mother, April Brewer, passed away unexpectedly over the weekend after receiving an injection in her lower back. The doctor that performed the procedure this time was not the same doctor as the previous times she had an injection done. He hit her L5 nerve root which caused her leg to jump up off the table and hit the pillow. The doctor stated he went too deep and was going to pull the needle out just a little before releasing the medication. Once she was home and the medication started wearing off, she began to be in a constant excruciating pain. She was having difficulty in walking, standing, sitting, and bending. She made an emergency follow up appointment with her PCP who requested the medical records from the procedure and they never sent them over until I called to notify them of her passing.

Due to her being on disability, she didn’t have any type of life insurance to help with any funeral costs or final expenses. Anything that you can donate would be greatly appreciated.

April “Sissy” Brewer was loved by so many. The amount of love for her is unbelievable seeing as though she never met many of them. She acquired these friends thru FB and other social media.

Everyone that knew her, knew she had a love for cats. She had 2 special kitties, Buddy and Oreo. She also had several feral kitties that depended on her. They trusted her and had begun allowing her to pet and hold them. She was such a special person.

We miss her so much and don’t know how we’ll make it without her. May God bless you all!!
